I've lately been designing various booklets for Cornwall Council, and one particularly exciting project that recently landed on my desk was a child's health care booklet for the NHS. Cornwall was going to be the first county to implement the booklet, and the design fell to me. It turned out the NHS wanted something a little different than the usual corporate style, so I got my pens out and started doodling little characters (like i did in the back of my science textbooks at school) and an ink-splattered, exercise book-style design was born. If the booklet is popular it will be used in schools throughout the UK, so your kids might be dropping this in your lap anytime soon (but they might have coloured it in and scribbled all over it by the time you read it!)

I recently finished illustrating ‘Every Day is Earth Day’, an eco-friendly puzzle book for American Publisher, Dover Publications. It was a mammoth project as it involved researching the correct information, designing the puzzles and illustrating them, as well as designing the layout. It was a fun challenge!
It contains crosswords, spot the difference, mazes, suduko and much more but with the fun and games comes a serious message: we must look after our environment, and hopefully this puzzle book does just that. I certainly learnt a thing or two!

A new year, a new start - my website has a fresh look with the help of talented web designer Rich Salter.
I wanted something that represents the spirit of Go And Eat Worms - fun and lively but without being too complicated to use. Rich has helped make my idea web friendly and not too frilly! I want people to navigate the site easily but hopefully make them smile at the same time.
