Heather Allen has never really grown up. This is reflected in her inability to cook anything except fishfingers and peas.

‘Go And Eat Worms’ is a collection of Heather’s illustrations. Graduating in 2003, Heather leapt into the world of freelance illustration. By 2005 she was shortlisted at the Early Years Awards for ‘Best New Illustrator’.

Not content just with illustrating, Heather also studied graphic design and specialised in book publishing. She is experienced in designing educational textbooks for schools and creating trade book covers across a wide variety of genres. She believes her training as a designer proves invaluable to her career as an illustrator.

Heather moved back home to Cornwall in 2009, and lives in the little village of Frogpool. She hopes that ‘Go And Eat Worms’ will go from strength to strength and would love to hear from you - whether it’s to enquire about a potential project or you’d just like to say hello!
